In other words, they've been to the crossroads and brought a chainsaw. Enter Texas- based duo the Barnyard Stompers, who love them some Bakersfield. On their never- ending tour in support of "Highway Gospel," real- life couple Casey Miller (vocals/guitar) and Megan Scott Wise (on drums), have made an effort to play here every time they know they'll be in the vicinity - - as they will be Saturday, more specifically at Riley's Tavern."We don't look forward to every show we play on the road," Wise said, "but I can honestly say we LOVE playing in Bakersfield! I love the rich country music history of the town and we look forward to seeing old friends and fans and it's always nice to meet some more!"Their style is a mixture of Bakersfield Sound/truck- driver country, bluegrass and '5.
